Last year when the pandemic was at its peak and we were confined to our homes, poetry came to my rescue. The feedback received motivated me to compile together my pieces in an anthology – ‘You, Me & The Universe.’ Many friends and loved ones suggested dropping the idea as they claimed that poetry doesn’t sell anymore. Nobody reads poetry now. I published my first poetry book in Dec 2020.

It was even more heartening to see that this year in the Blogchatter ebook carnival there were many who came out with their poetry books. The tribe is there and so are the readers, it is us who have convinced ourselves otherwise.

This pushed me to do more work where I can help and promote more and more poets. I recently co-facilitated a workshop, the fruits of which will soon be published in an anthology. The amazing response to my book and the workshop is egging me to pursue something in the uncharted territory, something that wasn’t attempted earlier in the Indian Blogverse, a dedicated poetry blog hop.

And here I am with one of its kind poetry blog hop.

Looking forward for your wonderful participation.
